This piece is basically the tale of Alice in Wonderland, only with different creatures posing as the character from the well known movie/novel, plus few extra twists. In it, Alice follows a "rabbit" down the rabbit's hole and finds that her vast curiosity gets her into trouble when she enters a world of oddities that she cannot escape from. In fact, even she has changed. Her normal, human legs have changed into arms. The story, if presented in a play would start with her already in the strange world. The Cheshire "cat" appears frequently to give Alice small hints as to where to go to find her way home. Unfortunately, the "cat" only speaks in riddles. Alice meets other characters, such as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum who are less than helpful in her quest to her journey home. Naturally, Alice meets characters who aren't nearly as friendly. For instance, The Queen of Hearts finds little Alice a nuisance and becomes a troublesome character for Alice. Eventually, Alice picks away at Cheshire "cat's" riddles and finds it in herself to find her way home.
If presented in a play, each scene change would be represented by doors. When any door is opened the scene's atmosphere would alter and the many costumes would help to modify the mood.
"Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?"
"That depends a good deal on where you want to get to," said the Cat.
"I don’t much care where--" said Alice.
"Then it doesn’t matter which way you go," said the Cat.
"--so long as I get SOMEWHERE," Alice added as an explanation.
"Oh, you’re sure to do that," said the Cat, "if you only walk long enough."
